Welcome to our "dog blog"

Mocha and Latte are brother and sister Chihuahua's. Mocha is totally blind from an accident when he was only 6 months old. He got his head jammed in a door when he lived with his previous owner. He had brain damage which caused the blindness and also misshaped his jaw. He had his left eye removed a few months later. So far his right eye is healthy but blind. I am hoping this blog will be of some help to other owners of blind dogs. Mocha has taught us so much all ready!

    I just wanted to drop in and say hello. I just caught up on your blog and I must say that Mocha is very handsome and Latte is beautiful. So are your other dogs! Mocha's story is amazing. I think everyone could learn so much from him.

    Thank you for visiting our blog.
    I don't know about Mocha being lucky, I think we are the lucky ones for having him and Latte in our lives. The realy are the best! and I could not imagine being without them. Also you're right there is nothing "poor" about Mocha, he is a very loving confident little dog who leads a very normal happy life who now has a new friend (Coco :)

    Hi Coco! Thank you for checking up on us. We've had lots of problems with our PC so have not been online for quite a while, and then when it was fixed I hurt my back and was unable to even get to the computer for over a week! Mocha and Latte have been keeping me company on the bed all that time, They didn't complain at all:-) But we're all better now, me and the PC!

    Oh hai! I finded your blog from Cocorue. I is a blind dawg too! I doesn't has no eyes left tho. Is still new for me, cuz I was one-eyed wonderdawg for one yeer before I had to be no-eyed dawg. I is so eksited to find nuther blind dawg dat I is ::butt wiggling:: all over da playse. Ok, well - since you is eksperyensed wif bein blinded I hope dat I can lerned lots from you.
